I'm worried there might be a delay with the 512GB Note 9's

I don't think so. The general public doesn't want to spend a ton of money on phones.

Apparantly demand is far greater than supply. Too many 128s and not enough 512s. Samsung reps are just as surprised. Funny two reps touted that, but not overall preorders for the N9. Me thinks they need a lot more 512s and less 128s than planned. Also me thinks overall demand might be flat, or down overall. This is based on the Samsung reps being less than candid for overall orders , but all about the higher 512 demand.

Another scary thing is that I've watched a million unboxing videos on YouTube and not a one 512GB has even been seen yet. I've even seen a couple from AT&T and T-Mobile in the past day or two and they are all 128GB.

Anyone seen any signs that the 512GB actually exists yet?

Sammy isn't going to waste the more expensive unit on reviewers. Seeing that the ship day is still by date is still 8/24 directly from the carriers and Sammy I'd say they have a good stock. Bestbuy is the only one I know with a later date for the 512gb and that could me due to the receiving a limited supply. We will definitely find out in a little over a week.

For the blue 512 GB if you order now. But if you already ordered early and got 24th delivery date you are fine. Heck I can still order the purple 512 GB unlocked model today for 24th delivery. The blue ones are probably in more demand and have slipped back.
All this from Samsung direct, obviously varies from retailer, carriers, color combo etc.

Yeah majority going for blue since there is no black and probably small percent to purple.

Even from T-Mobile direct, blue 512 GB estimated date if you order today is 8/29-09/05. Whereas if you order purple 512 GB you are getting 8/24 ship in line with 128GB blue and purple options which are 8/24 as well.

Apparently, Xfinity Mobile has delivery date of 09/14 for 512gb Ocean Blue. Basically, I will receiving my Note 9 after registration deadline for Samsung promotions. Samsung Reps have no answer to this. IMO, Samsung should be extending their registration deadlines (provided we can prove that we actually preordered).

Ah thanks for the heads up. I’m an AT&T customer. I just placed my preorder with Samsung direct for the 512 Blue and it says it will ship week of Sept. 23rd. That works out for me. I was reluctant to preorder early because I would have been out of town if the phones were shipping on time. But I did want to preorder and get the free headphones. I saw your post and decided I’d better get my preorder in.

This for me is exactly what I’ve been wanting, so I hope to keep it at least two years and want a bit of future proofing, so I’m maxing out the specs. I have an S9+ and it’s almost the perfect Android phone for me, but from day one I wanted a bigger battery and more onboard storage. I saw the Note 9 at Best Buy today. It’s amazing. I can settle down happily now.

Hmm that’s odd because if you order directly from Samsung the date shows shipping 9/12 for the 512 gb pre order ATT , unlocked, and TMobile. I stopped testing after those three.

I just order my 512Gb Verizon version and the ship sate shows 9/2/2018. Lets hope its earlier.

Samsung is famous for crap like this. The 128GB will arrive on time but I'm a little worried about the 512GB Phones being delayed.

Not a single YouTube Head had or seen the 512GB at unpacked.

Just hope thy don't show up MIA on launch day.

Jeez mine says estimated between August 29th - September 5th and I pre-ordered on August 15th. When did you pre-order?

In the UK on the Samsung Online Store the 512Gb model shipping date has slipped onto September.

The 128Gb is Still shipping on the 23rd of August.

I don’t believe all the 512 GB are “special edition” like this video shows here. There is another video in English of a guy in Korea opening one, and he implies it is a Korean market only thing.
