seriously. all this did for me is foster bad PR for apple. Why waste millions of dollars in legal fees to affect some insignificant part of the UX for android users? Simply ridiculous.

If ever I was tempted to buy an Apple product, things like these lawsuits certainly aren't tempting me now. Why would I want to buy from the company that tried to cripple the previous product I was using? I guess Apple is satisfied with it's current customer base and doesn't worry about attracting new ones.

Official statements from Apple spokewoman saying we "steal" their ideas, and it's wrong? I suppose they want to patent the on/off button and the shape of the rectangle now. I saw that they patented the "wedge" shape. For real Apple?
