Until now I've used Volume+ with ICS and it worked wonderfully ...

but since JB came out Volume+ doesn't seem work at all :(

Anyone know of another way to increase the speaker sound on a GNex?

I'll never understand why they made the GNex with such a quiet speaker anyways :-\

You can run the Trinity Kernel and get the paid Trinity Kernel Toolbox app. I suspect the Volume+ author will be updating the app soon though.

Maybe it's your kernel, but Volume+ works just fine for me on franco.kernel.

Ditto.

Just to confirm...those who are having issues, you are making sure to go into your GNex settings>Sound>Music Effects and selecting Volume+ right?

Not that it matters, but you are in the Galaxy Nexus phone forum, not the Nexus 7 forum.

Music volume eq works fine on any build. It's not 11, but it's usable.
