Sorry if there's a thread.

What RESOLUTION do you have your Infinity Display at, what's your reasoning for it?

I'm at WQHD+, why?

I spent this much on my S8 & S8+ that I want to take advantage of it. Battery life isn't a concern especially with Fast Charging.

If y9u actually look at the text and background of homescreeen and take screenshots of both you can easily see that the resolutions are a lot different...wqhd looks a lot clearer..try it out:-)

I always run it at the highest resolution possible. I want to enjoy the display. I only ever go to the lowest setting for the battery saving mode. I don't use the middle setting at all

I unlike a few people on these forums got my Galaxy S8 on sale at bestbuy SUPER cheap (Unlocked model for $424... was on sale for $624 and got $200 trade in for my S6 which I only paid $400 for and used for 2 years)

So being that I only paid $424 for my phone I still use WQHD+ its not about "I paid top dollar" or anything like that its just the fact that the reason I got the phone was because of the tech it uses

So yes, I am gonna enjoy every pixel and watch youtube at 1440p with the crop feature using a VPN cause verizon won't let me otherwise Thank You Very Much lmao

FHD+. Not a gamer. I notice zero difference, they look exactly the same, so why make the phone work harder for the same result? Makes no sense to me lol
I've actually left my screen at HD Plus which is the lowest level. My eyes can tell the difference I'm not a gamer either, so for me I'd rather save on battery power and have my phone run cooler and better performance for multitasking versus a 4K display.

FHD+. For the most part you won't be able to tell these apart and you get bonus battery life.
I couldn't have said it better myself! I'd rather get the battery life then they screen performance! My Naked Eyes can tell the difference and having almost a full day or 20 hours of battery power when I needed the most is more than worth it for me! Most people cannot tell the difference!

I used to be on FHD+ but after using WQHD+ for sometime I cannot go back. I have an S8+ and the battery is already better than most other Androids I've used so far. To save battery, I usually enable medium power saver mode with 10% reduced brightness, throttled processor and AOD/background data ON. The power saver mode automatically stops background location use so that's an additional power savings. Lowering the resolution is noticeable but enabling medium power saving is not, unless I'm using GPS (location turning off in the background).

I left it at whatever it was set to (FHD I believe) from the factory. I don't need the highest level because neither of my parents were hawks.
