Install app (not from Google Play) => uninstall this app => install again FAILS. How to fix it?

I cannot reinstall my own signed app from Google drive after initial install followed by uninstall. Why does it happen and how to fix it? Second installation attempt result is "app not installed" message. I tried clearing Package Installer cache, android:allowBackup="false". Nothing helps. Other devices (with different OS versions) behave the same. Please help!

Your own app? Is it leaving something that doesn't get deleted during uninstallation? Or setting something that uninstallation doesn't unset?

Have you tried uninstalling, then restarting?

Or force stop, clearing cache, clearing data, then uninstalling?

(Just ideas, not guaranteed fixes.)
