Installed Widget Locker - Now Alarm Doesn't Work!

Hey guys. So I installed widget locker last night and this morning my stock alarm didn't go off (so I was late for work!). What's the deal here? Am I missing a setting somewhere. Thanks so much for your help!

Another issue I'm having with widget locker is any hardware button that is pressed will turn on the phone's screen and bring me to the lock screen. I just want the power and home buttons to open up the lock screen. (I have Easy Wake Mode unchecked).

Anyone have any input on this? I'm considering uninstalling WL, seems to be causing a lot of problems.

I tried WL myself a while back and decided it was way more than what I wanted (only the widgets on lock screen feature). There are many who swear by WL, so I would assume most of the issues have solutions somewhere in the settings.

Later, I realized I really didn't want widgets on the lock screen ... sort of counteracts the purpose of the lock screen. Good luck.

PS - Just 2c ... When apps duplicate stock X ops, there seems to be a potential for conflicts lurking. Just sayin'

Yeah, I hear ya...only gave this app a shot because, like you said, many swear by it. Looks like I'll be uninstalling soon unless someone can help me out.

1) re: any hardware button opening to the lock screen --
double-check your settings in widgetlocker; applications > widgetlocker > menu button > settings > buttons & inputs. you might have something extra checked in this menu that is creating a conflict. i don't have any of the options checked in this submenu.

2) re: your alarm clock -- man, shoot... i dunno?
look at your settings in widgetlocker > menu button > settings > behavior > Silence Ringer Mode (maybe... i'm guessing here). this submenu might control your alarm sounds behavior.

I'm running wl too. I had lockbot pro and didn't like it at all. I dont recommend it. The only problem I ran into was my tapatalk notifications not working. Now I'm wondering if its wl doing this

Yea ive had weird issues with wl also. It doesn't seem to play fully nice with my dx at the moment

I just disabled WL to see if that would take care of my tapatalk problem. I guess I'll see what happens

My tapatalk notifications still don't work for some odd reason... but I am receiving other notifications. Its hard to believe that a screen lock app can screw with so much at once. Whoever is looking into throwing their hard earned money into widgetlocker. DONT DO IT! I don't recommend it. Although some of the features were nice,not worth it it the long run

Hmmm

Count me as one of those people who swear by it. Never had a problem. I love having instant access to the camera through a custom slider!
