I posted earlier that I was charged Amazon's secondary ETF of $400. Not sure if I mentioned this or not, but when i contacted Amazon, they reversed the $400 charge as a goodwill gesture for being a loyal customer.(Prime member continuously since 2006) It also helped that i was able to prove to them that I kept the lines/plans intact and all I did was switch the phones around.
For those who've done this with amazon none have reported being charged any etf. But it's your choice. Verizon reps etc have said the same thing for all loopholes but they've worked out well. (Not saying it currently works) but just saying that reps aren't the best sources for info.
