Galaxy note 4 Black for Verizon wireless is now available for pre-order online.

However, when i try to check out it says

"What happens to my plan when I upgrade?
Verizon Wireless has ended its unlimited data plan option. If you have unlimited data, you'll be switched to their most common 2GB plan when you upgrade. You can change your data plan any time after you upgrade. As long as your new phone is compatible with your plan, the rest of your features will stay the same."

Was this warning always been there ? i am just being worried.

This has been said before as long as you don't turn on ur phone with the new sd card in it you will be fine. The point of the Best Buy Method is to essentially use your old SIM card from your old smartphone and put it in your new phone then turn it on. The Data saying that you have unlimited Data would be saved on your old SIM card. JUST REMEMBER DO PUT IN THE NEW SIM CARD IN SIDE THE PHONE. Put in old SIM card in phone then turn it on and you should be good to go. Can Anyone else support me on this

I know it's just a mistake but a SD card is a hell of a lot different then a SIM card!!

SD card doesn't matter and probably won't come with the phone.

SIM card is the one you must remove before turning phone on, and use your old SIM card.

You could wait for the phone to be sold from a third party retailer. Order it on dumb phone line and then just discard the sim that comes with it. You need or delivered not in store pickup. I would avoid amazon.

What is the preferred method 4ever method or BB method? As they are both available to me. I want the Note 4 for Verizon?

line 2 tdp line no upgrade

bb method as of right now is instore pickup so bb wont work for you unless they will ship to home so 4ever should work thats what i did mine should be in today but probably wont get it till tomorrow

1) Log onto Verizon and transfer your UDP line's upgrade to a TDP line;
2) Order the new smartphone you want on the TDP line;
3) When the new smartphone arrives, activate it on the TDP line using the SIM card that ships with the phone;
4) Wait at least an hour and make a few calls/text from the new smartphone to make sure it activated OK;
5) Log onto Verizon and put the TDP line's old smartphone back on the TDP line; and
6) Log onto Verizon and put the new smartphone on the UDP line.

It seems the transfer upgrade works as it use to previous to Aug. 24th which is fantastic news but my question is, what sim card is being used when you switch the phone to the UDP line?

Yes, because you are activating it in the tiered line.

I had a friend get a iPhone from Verizon. She transferred the upgrade to a tiered line. She just discarded the sim that it came with and activated on her unlimited line.

She still has unlimited and the funny thing is she still has the upgrade.

I don't know. She is on her father's account, and it is a small business account.

It definitely worked though. She had trouble ordering and had to call. It was a preorder for the iPhone 6. The rep actually told her to just use the sim in the other line.

Thanks....so say I don't activate the phone on the tiered line (it's my sisters and she lives 3 hours away) and just discard that sim...i'll have a pending activation on that line that will have to be removed eventually? Still wouldn't mess with UDP tho right?

and just to be clear, using a "buddy upgrade" from my UDP line to the tiered line won't ruin the UDP on the line with upgrade right?
