Thanks for the response! We don't have the phone yet as it was delivered while we were both at work and FedEx wouldn't leave it at the door. So hopefully tomorrow we will find out.
I chatted with two different Verizon reps last night via Verizon Wireless website. The first guy told me it wouldn't work without assumption of liability, which meant I would have to change my plan and start fresh. Basically he told me the only way I could keep my unlimited was buying a phone at full price/on eBay. He was not very helpful to say the least. The next guy I chatted with was very helpful and told me I could definitely do it, but to have my husband activate the new phone on his account (he has a standard 2GB Share Everything, not unlimited like me) and then deactivate and re-activate his old phone before activating the new phone to my line. He assured me this would work....I guess worse comes to worse, I get my husband's old phone and he gets the new one. What I am most afraid of is activating the new phone on my line and somehow losing my unlimited plan, which would be like losing gold. I don't expect much help from Verizon in this department since they are trying their hardest to eliminate these plans.
