Ok, I've tried what you suggested. I have cleared cache and use different browsers to attempt the order. Same error message. I have even tried a different phone (tried the M8 you suggested) and still same error 53. I've now spent hours on the phone and chat service to get a remedy, but no one at BB or VZW can help. I had one rep run a credit check on me because he seemed to think that was the issue. One rep. did tell me that the error 53 is from a balance being owed, however I do not have a balance due at all. They even looked it up and confirmed. I use auto-payment and it came out yesterday and is paid in full. VZW reps tell me to call BB ... and BB reps tell me to call VZW. I've even made them call each other while on the line with me and they can't figure it out. So frustrating!
Have you tried going through the steps with a different phone? Have you tried using a different browser? Have you tried clearing the cache of said browser? Try going through the steps with the htc M8 and report back.
