Interestingly, when speaking to a Verizon rep on the phone last week, they said the 6GB upgrade deal for people who formerly had UDP was now only being offered to those who sign up with EDGE.

Does anyone know if this is accurate? If there's one thing I've learned in this thread, it's that Verizon reps don't always know what they're talking about.

Will verizon have the note 4 for pre order on BB? I'm asking this because all I've seen on BB is the note for at&t. Also with the pre order does the BB method work the same way even if its a pre order? And if we can't order it on BB can we use the same method on Amazon?

I'd ask another rep at another verizon location just to make sure some locations are more knowledgeable than others

The only thing to be careful with on Amazon (and a few others using the same backend) is that they can charge a separate EFT if you move the device off the line used to upgrade.

I don't plan to move my line to upgrade. So the BB method will work on Amazon? Do I have to watch out for anything?

You can get a new SIM with no problems. The only time a new sim will effect your plan is when you got a subsidized device with it. Just go to a Verizon store, call online or order a nfc sim from Verizon ISIS/softbank.

So the only SIM card that has the switch order is the one that shipped inside the phone? I need to get a new SIM card bc my old udp sim I put in the iPhone 6 has issues after cutting it

transfer UDP upgrade to TDP and order phone with TDP. then when you receive the phone, pop in your old UDP sim to the phone.

Looking on Best Buy website today and I did not get the option to keep existing plan. The options were to upgrade with Edge or to get a new 2 year contract. I selected New 2 Year Contract and got a message on the next screen saying: "Verizon Wireless has ended its unlimited data plan option. If you have unlimited data, you'll be switched to their most common 2GB plan when you upgrade. You can change your data plan any time after you upgrade. As long as your new phone is compatible with your plan, the rest of your features will stay the same"
Has anyone else seen this? When I checked a couple weeks ago I had the option to Keep Existing Plan. Thanks.

There is nothing to check. Click on upgrade device and you will be presented with the picture attached. It has changed slightly from when I did it back in April but people are claiming it works just as before.
