What I just found out today is that Samsung will NOT let you purchase Premium Care for your S9 if you did not purchase it at check-out when pre-ordering or ordering the phone, and if it's not from Samsung.com directly. At least that's what the rep just told me on the phone. So basically I cannot get Premium Care from them at all because I didn't check that option at check-out when I bought the phone. That was definitely not clear to me when I ordered it. I then asked about their uBreakiFix partnership and if I could go have it inspected at a local store to be eligible for the coverage and she said no. So then I went to T-Mobile to try to get coverage from them and they want $15/month with a $175 deductible because I didn't buy the phone directly from them. I'm debating Square Trade which is cheaper, but I don't have any experience with them so plan to do research before buying from them. They have a 1 year plan for $89 and 2 years for $129. Covers accidents, cracked screens, spills, etc but NOT lost or stolen (which Samsung and T mobile do cover)...but T-mo's deductible is higher. I also looked at Geek Squad and they're cheaper but the deductible is $149 for the S9 and $199 for the S9+ since it's based on the value of the phone.
