interested in rooting nexus

i just got my gsm nexus for at&t this is my first nexus device and after watching videos on the AOKP rom, i must have it!!!

however theres one small problem, ive never rooted a device before, i basically know nothing and it always kinda made me nervous not knowing anything about rooting a phone...can anyone show me the easiest fastest way to root my nexus and install aokp? this is all really overwhelming lol

Good to you and your new phone I have a galaxyS2 and I have full control over it because I'm rooted totally BE CARE WHAT YOU TOUCH BCUZ YOU MAY DEFINITELY BRICK YOUR DEVICE IF YOU HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF #ROOTING ENJOY
