Apple has definitely caught up I can say that.

I feel like you're the only one saying that lol.

API's for live icons, could mean far more then implied. all new multitasking NC is better on iOS the Android now. iOS 7 was a massive over haul and will be still keeping my N4 but switching back to iPhones.Um, how?
How are they "more opened?"
What makes Apple better poised to compete with Android with iOS7 that they were unable to do with iOS6?

You prefer Siri over Google Now? That's interesting, I haven't seen that much before. Over the old search app or s-voice, yes, of course, but Google Now seems to win out over both consistently. What do you like more about Siri?
Siri is more useful an on device assistant. where as Now is an imformation thingy.
Which doesn't mean that they copied it from android. Similar concepts have been floating around since 2008-2009. One of them was by TAT, which was bought by Blackberry. The exact functionality is likely very different as well.

3rd party app integration. The notification bar. Multi-tasking for all apps. The ability to sideload any app without hacking. Android did all of this while still allowing for widgets and a customizable desktop-like interface. So what has android "created" lately that is so ground breaking since everyone is bashing apple for not being innovative I figure I'd ask.
Its true though. iOS 8 will definitely beat Android not in features but polish and USEFUL features.

Bold predictions for an OS for a year from now when iOS7 hasn't even caught up to where Android 4.2 is today, especially with 4.3 on the horizon. I don't see that happening.
You're also implying iOS suddenly now has useful features, while Android's features are... Not useful?
Interesting assessments.

also dont forget KLP will be released with Nexus4 II. iOS will be far behind yet again.
the only feature i liked is airdrop apart from that most features already exist on Android.
iOS just made a baby step while Android is doing a marathon.
Interestingly, someone that actually knows what KLP is (blackmanx) says people will be disappointed. His exact words were something like 'iOS 7 will still be ahead after KLP is announced'.

dont know if anyone watched apple keynote, they announced iOS7, and this is something totally new. iPhone was always the same, but not anymore, they started to compete with android I guess.
I have new N4 but now I started to think about iPhone, oh((((
Am I the only one or?

iOS is still way far behind in terms of handling files, being able to switch default apps, and anything else that allows the user to make decisions as opposed to letting Apple decide how you will operate.
I am not sure who blackmanx is but tell me a feature that iOS announced which Android didnt have apart from airdrop?
let iOS catchup with ICS first then we will talk about JellyBean and KLP
If iOS7 is still drastically outmatched my Android 4.2, how can KLP be inferior to iOS7?

iOS 7 was a step in the right direction, but more of a leap than a step is required still to bring it to the point where I'd trade the functionality of my Androids for an iPhone. Several things are still deal breakers for me. 3rd party apps still can't fully access each other's functions as well as android, no widgets, Google Now is still much better on android, keyboard still sucks, physical home buttons, screen size.
I was left with the impression that iOS tries to catch up to ICS but not on par with JB. The people I mainly see being excited about iOS 7 are iOS 6 users.
