The Moto Tab looks nice, but the Galaxy Tab has really made me rethink the utility of a 10" tablet. I find that the Galaxy Tab form factor is perfect for me because it's so portable.
While it's pretty obvious that a 10" screen looks bigger than a 7" screen compared to a 3-4" screen, my point is that people consider the iPad to be way bigger than the Galaxy Tab even though the size difference is 2.7", but somehow, the 2.7"-3.2" difference between the Galaxy Tab and a smartphone makes it only a little bit bigger.
And if the Galaxy Tab were 800 X 480, the claim of just a bigger Evo would be a bit more justified, but at 1024 X 800, it has 60% more pixels. So not only is it 2-3 times bigger in area, it also displays 60% more information on the screen. So the "slightly larger than my smartphone" argument is just a specious talking point.
A resolution bump to 1500 X 900 would be awesome, but I'd even take 1280 X 768 for my next 7" tablet.
