Iphone for VM, confirmed?

I dislike how the iPhone is a $30 plan.... but people who have the grandfather plan and want to switch to a 4G phone have to pay the $35. Nice strategy virgin mobile -_-
IPhones suck. Nuff said.

Its thirty if u pay with a debit card ect. That's it. I think its for all smart phones.

Oops. I missed that xD well the point pretty much is.... there's going to be more controversy once the release date is released

It's lame but it's understandable. It's purely business. The lower rates will attract potential customers to VM, and at some point they will raise the prices.

Plus, I don't think many people will be using the $30 plan

TO be honest, after the past five to six months with my sgs4g if I had the money I would. Ive used several friends phones and every time I wanted to make a call or do something on the internet with it I didnt have to wait for the phone to wake up and let me.

Im tired of having to root a phone to get rid of junk the carrier installs. Then end up installing a custom rom that if you happen to bought a phone you thought had decent devs but turned out they were a bunch of arrogant aresholes, is just a stock rom "optimized".

There are things I would like to have built into my os so I dont have to use apps. With iOS these things are not necessary because you dont have to root/jailbreak a iPhone to get rid of the crapware.

iPhones cant use 4G. That is why the price difference. All the new phones coming out are 4G capable minus the One V IF Vm gets it.

Maybe if we didn't have to be subjected to crapware we wouldn't have to rom. iPhones don't have stupid uninstallible bloatware on the phones.

I would bet that if carriers (and hardware makers for that fact) stuck to stock android, we would see far fewer of these problems.

I think you are just sore Eollie about buying a phone with a crap dev community. :p

Text from VM

Just a heads up I got a text from VM saying they've got news. I was like this ":D"

then i clicked on the link and so the iphone 4s is coming to Virgin Mobile, so then I was all
:| 'how is this news?' lol

Point being #TEAM EVO V!!!

Just an FYI: I have an Optimus Slider that I haven't rooted. I simply downloaded GO Launcher 2.87 ADK and used it to hide all the bloat apps. Now I never see them and don't know they exist. The Slider comes with Android 2.3 and I've never had any major issues doing it this way.

Thought you guys might appreciate a different way of doing things. Download GO Launcher from Market and bloatware is gone. But I digress from the topic.

Im not sore, Im pissed the hell off. But mostly at myself. My research on what phone to get failed miserably. I initially thought roms would be swap-able like they are with the optimus. For the record we have some smart people in the sgs4g community, but they arent working together like the optimus community does.

I guarantee you if there was no crapware installed the only thing I would do is root to use something like titanium backup. Most of the reason that stuff is installed is because carriers use that to sub the price for you. To out right buy a phone with out the bloatware would be about twice as much.

I bet VM is going to put bloatware on it ^_^

That is one of the best reasons to buy a iPhone, Apple refuses to cave to carriers wanting to put that crap on the phone. However that was under Jobs command. But I would almost guarantee there wont be the VM crapware installed.

offer me more minutes vm if you want to impress me...that would be great news...i know...you dont have to say it lol.."you and your minutes!!" :p
