Cool... so Gear S2 has cellular using same telephone number as your cell phone? Curious to how much it costs for the service? I never really researched it because I always thought two separate numbers. They should have really advertised that feature.
I believe it is a different number but it is linked to the your cell. So when they call your cell your watch picks it up. You can also just give out your watches number and that works also. Best of both worlds. I have the gear s3 now.

Not a chance in hell I'd swap for it. I have a 7+ as well so having the both to compare, I'll take Android in general hands down.

Lol, I didn't say that. Right now all phones are so awesome that you almost can't go wrong with any... just comes down to what strength one phone has that you prefer. This year I'm really wanting to try the S-Pen even though with a few compromises.

I can do it because I didn't have to pay full price on my Note 8... but if I had to pay full for each... it could be a hard decision. iPhone makes solid phones that seem to be more future proof than Andoids which I find a good/better value over time.

I think for you sir Apple is better.

Come on... Series 3 with cellular on same telephone number. I don't know how LTE works on the Samsung... is it a separate tele number? If you want people to call you and you have just the watch do they have to call the watch number or does it have the ability to reroute to watch automatically?

For me the watch is a win when they can use same telephone number and really be able to leave the phone behind at times.

As for the rest of the phone, I think it will be a solid phone. Not mind blowing... but it's coming close to a phone that checks almost every box that most people want and less concessions. Something simple like stereo speakers... at the $1000 level you're still compromising on the Note.

Yeah, because we all want stereo speakers that are going to annoy the fuq out of people around us. I prefer headphones.

I am saying, Apple face recognition is far superior than Fingerprint. The number speaks for itself.
Now did you get it this time? lol If so, then sit down and be HUMBLE

you are the one who needs to sit and be humble. you started the thread. you need to be more respectful

Sorry I must have missed the part in the Apple presentation about the SPen... Can someone fill me in?

Was waiting for the iPhone presentation before making my mind up to whether I'd be moving from my S8+ to a N8 or iPhone X....no choice really after that underwhelming release. That cut notch at the top..totally distracting, the rear cameras sticking out..ugly and the same bloody icons that have been around for years just ridiculous. Not forgetting that absurd price tag. I really don't know where Apple are going with this one.

I'm an iPhone user, and the event was very underwhelming, Nothing made me go WOW besides the price! Lol.

Everything I see today, is something that Samsung had already... no new innovation features or anything IMO.

The animation emoji is probably going be great, but I'm sure there's going be those on Android as well Lol.

I going keep the Note 8 because the iPhone still does not do real multi tasking/multi windows as Android. That one of the features that I like on the Note series since I'm a commuter, it be nice to watch/listen to YT and reading blogs or texting.

I still haven't look into what's iOS 11 is all about... Lol

Honestly I really can't think of any good excuse or negative for a flagship phone to not have stereo speakers. Watching a simple youtube video when you have a little time on your hands or playing a video you just made with your camera be it an event or something and watching and hearing it back in stereo sounds would be nice.

It is nice if you want them. I find them annoying and invasive unless you're alone. I'm already apologizing to people when my ring tone goes off in a public place.

Again I like great sound... Coming out of my headphones when I'm exercising. 😀

Lol I agree. I especially hate when people are using their speaker phone in public. Like really. No one wants to hear your conversation. But yet So many people do it. I wouldn't mind stereo speakers it's nice when your alone. But I would never use them in public and annoy everyone else.

You have options in Android for that. LG V10/V20/V30 will solve your deadly concern. Note is targeted at productivity not entertainment. But it's a good feature to have. If you are not interested in LG, I can help you with more options with stereo speakers.

There's nothing to see in iOS 11 for the iPhone. All the updates went to the iPad this year.
