Is 32GB eneough? Help me understand.

Went for the 32GB Pixel XL.
$299, $100 gift card, free new-gen ChromeCast (thanks BestBuy) and it'll be delivered Friday.
With the N7 going back asap, I don't have a lot of time to wait for options.
I bought a Type-C mini OTG card reader for the 128GB card I used in my N7.
If history is any indication, I may never use it, but it's good to know it's there.

32gb is not enough for me, I use clouding services but as I don't have unlimited data I use to keep a lot of files, personal and professional, on my phone. And also music and pics I like to carry around. Actually I am using a 128gb on a Samsung S7 Edge, it's more than enough but its abou 70% percent full!

I could probably make 32 work, but I'd have to actively micromanage some apps and other storage and I would just prefer to avoid that.

Yes, 32GB is sufficient which gives the 24..26 GB user available.
However when you are to store or make a data backup minimum requirement is 64.
