Is it bricked, or can it be fixed?? Help ASAP please!!

I dont have adb or fast boot.

alright
(Got #1-3 of the method here from androidforums)

1)download mini-adb_tbolt2.zip from here: mini-adb_tbolt2.zip
md5: ef01f616471673d3eeb71b4cac4b8118

2)set up adb:
-extract miniadb_tbolt2.zip and place the unzipped folder onto the root of your C\ drive on your PC
-open a command window. windows 7,click on start bubble, type cmd in the search box and hit enter. a small black window should open up

3)in your command window: change to the tbolt2 directory by typing:
cd c:\mini-adb_tbolt2

4) then run the command adb reboot-bootloader

let me know what happens :D

Try this once you are in your adb directory

Adb devices reboot bootloader

That command should dump you right into the bootloader and from there we can get you unstuck

People with their knowledge as well as input here have made this thread simply awesome.
It's like a Rescue 911 call in thread form.
Eager to learn and see what the outcome is
Keep up the good work guys, and gal. :-D

ive installed htc sync and when i try to run it, no device found and when running comands i gert " error: no device found".

When i plug in the device to the pc it will say its a generic usb and a dialog box thats says this device can perform faster..

Any other suggestions?

Plug your phone into the PC. And in the command prompt line once your in your adb directory. Try this command

Adb devices

If the PC can see your phone it should show you your phone In the command prompt line box. If your phone shows up we should be able to save it if it doesn't you may be out of luck.

when i plug it in its acknowledged, only as a "generic usb". Ive tried all the commands I can think of, adb usb, reboot, reboot-bootloader, adb devices renders "list of devices" but theres nothing there; adb reboot recovery, and each time i get "error: device not found".

think at this point im going to send back to seller and resell the screen i purchased. unless something miraculously happens :(

If none of those commands are working then its definitely bricked. Hope the seller will give you your money back

Hi all, :) I went thru what the OP did, same weird icon, but got to the bootloader screen using down and power button. Now I'm not sure what path or paths to do on this screen. If anyone will help, it would be much appreciated.

do you have an sd card adapter? Does the bootloader say S-OFF or S-ON?

Alright, if you put this file on the sdcard as PG05IMG.zip and boot to hboot, let it flash, you should be able to boot. Just make sure to remove it when you're done!

trter0-2 Thank you for the info. I got the file downloaded to my PC, took 45 mins, does that seem right? Will try to move it to SD card today and into the phone. So, when I go to the bootloader, do I highlight hboot and press the power button to flash this file?
