Sometimes when I unplug the phone maybe one or half a minute later the battery drops to 98%, heard on some forums it ain't necessarily bad, but I wanna hear someone here. Thank you!

Doesn't sound normal. I have had my phone jump from 98% to 100% while charging but never vice versa. I wouldn't worry too much about it though, unless it happens anytime when disconnecting (Like from 80 to 78, or 55 to 53 for example)

Thank you! It's really appreciated your answer, no, never happens when disconnected, just sometimes when I unplug it, anyone else here with the same issue?

Hey buddy, just happened what u said, charged it again and battery jumped from 98 to 100. I believe it's just not calibrated, or what do you think?

That could be it. I've read that a full charge, full drain and then a full charge again should be done once a month to calibrate your battery but I've never tried it.
See if that works out

Yeah, that should be it, however, is it normal for the battery to be decalibrated when it is new? The phone is 2 weeks old.

A lot of people recommend calibrating it that way as soon as you buy it. Like I said, I didn't try it but the battery life did seem to get better after some time.

Thank you, so I guess I'm good, just a decalibration I assume.

Anyone else with this issue?

If you search around there are a lot of people having the same issue.
One thing I found sometimes work is that you leave your phone charging even if it says 100% and the led is green.
In my case leaving it on for some more time results in 100% staying 100%.

So it also happens to you?

Since 4.3 I believe. Not every time though. I usually do what I told you. I leave the phone to charge for more time and it seems OK.

When I had my HTC One that was totally normal. It also sometimes would drop fast to 92ish then slow it's roll. Wouldn't really worry about it.

So it has to do with the update? Think it will be fixed by 4.4?

Hopefully. It would be quite annoying if it happened to my phone

It has happened just from two days to now, weird... I really hope kit Kat fixes it, anyone knows of a calibrating app or method? Dropping it to 0% and then 100 didn't seemed to work...

I have 4.4 and I don't believe it's fixed.
There is somewhere a calibrating method, if you search around you will find it.
It has to do with letting the phone to 0% and then charging etc. I don't know if it helps though.
A quick search will yield some results as I don't remember the specifics.
Did you try letting the phone charging for some time even after 100%?
