PleasePleasePleasePleasePlease someone tell me there's an uninstall button somewhere in my phone for this awful upgrade! My phone has gone into auto-reboot a few dozen times since it loaded, my audio apps will NOT operate with another app running, my battery runs itself dead in half the time. I want the S6 I bought back!

Try putting it in safe mode and clearing the system cache. I don't know how to do it though. It was mentioned on here before. Sorry your update went bad. Marshmallow is awesome except for all the white

Jeeeez. I just typed a lengthy reply and the phone rebooted instead of posting when I hit the button. What a nightmare.

Factory reset.
Google the steps, I can't remember right off hand, but it's fairly simple.
This should fix most software glitches

Joe
Verizon s6, marshmallow

Thanks Joe, it's what will likely happen, but I'm taking it in to Verizon and make them do it. Phone is under warranty and I want to b*tch at somebody, loud and public.

In case you want to try ..:

Here you go ..:

Before you jump to to that : Make a full back up with Samsung smart switch :
Samsung Smart Switch™: Transfer Contacts, Music & More

Factory Reset :
Open Settings and scroll down to the Backup and reset option. Towards the bottom of the screen, tap Factory Data Reset.
The on-screen prompts will warn you that all data will be lost and the phone returned to default settings, but that’s why we’re here, right? Confirm that you wish to perform the reset, and then press Reset Device.
Your phone has now been restored to factory settings.

I installed smart switch and there is no option that I can see for backing up.... only to transfer to a new device... am I missing something?

Hi Stettoman. Did you manage to find a solution. I'm based in the UK and the same has happened to my s7 edge. Phones become very laggy now.

I seriously hate this marshmello update. I hate apple phones but this has me seriously abandoning samsung and going to apple. WORST WORST UPDATE IN HISTORY. I AM SO FRUSTRATED WITH IT I WANT TO THROW IT. SAMSUNG WHAT THE HELL DIS YOU DO.
