Is it worth upgrading from an Epic Touch 4G?

I don't understand why some people need to upgrade every year?!?! You're NOT going to see much of an improvement. Wait every other year so you can justify your upgrade! Then again, most people lack patience! If you got an SG2 last year, your next phone should be an SG4 or something coming out next year. Pretty simple is you ask me!...lol!

By this logic I should not trade in my car every year for a newer model either. Pffffft!!! You poor folk need to learn small yearly upgrades are where it's at.

Need and want are two different things. A lot of people don't need to upgrade but they WANT to. Some just like to have the latest gadget, some have a very specific need and some may have a phone that is heavily used and ready for replacement.

For me the camera was the big draw to move up from the 3D along with the screen. I also like NFC, it's in more places than I realized.

OK so here's the reasons I upgraded from my E4GT.

I wanted a kickstand (unique to HTC phones so far) and the thought of a camera button just made my day. I can't think of another android phone that has these.

The screen sh i ts on everything. It really makes real life seem boring. I wish my life was projected in front of my face like this 24/7. Its that good.

The reception, radios, and GPS lock. These are PHONE features and 'features' that the E4GT struggled with. The evo has excellent reception and the call quality is crystal clear. This phone shows u the potential of cdma call quality over GSM.

Most people say 'yeah Samsung phones are good quality and they're plenty durable for me.' These same people don't understand that there is benefit to durability over beauty...one word - CASE! U think people buy an iPhone because its durable? No they immediately wrap it in a huge case. Protect your belongings, don't rely on its durability...

That's why I paid the early upgrade fee to get this phone only 9 months into my first 2 yr contract with sprint. It does these things better.
