Question Is my Galaxy S22 Ultra possibly rooted?

I have a Samsung s22 ultra from Verizon. From what I've read there are 100 system apps installed normally, and yet my phone shows 451.
Is it possible my phone has been rooted without my knowledge? I can boot to the boot loader without ever having done anything to enable that (hardkey presses).

If you bought it new. No. Phones don't root by themselves. Also someone has to have physical access to the phone.
Verizon is known to add a lot of bloat.

Welcome to Android Central! 100 is way too low of a number for system apps. I think Pixels out of the box have around 200 apps preinstalled (including system apps). Samsung phones will have a lot of additional system and preinstalled apps related to their own app and security ecosystem, so 451 would not be surprising to me.

The bottom line is that most of these apps are system apps, so I wouldn't be worried about the total app count.
