Is my mxq pro box video output broken?

Got a mxq pro s905 delivered this week from aliexpress. After connecting ,the Blue light wil Go on but no image on TV using hdmi or av. Hard reset using the switch in the av Port Does not work, well i think so because there is no output on screen. So i cannot see of Recovery works. Tried to reflash using amlogic usb tool, connecting and flashing ok. But no image still. Remote seems to work ,turns on the device Blue light and of Red light. Anyone had this Experience? I know i can send the box Back, but it costs the Same as buying a new one.

Well the no picture issue is solved. Changed hdmi cable and Presto there was light. However there seems to be an issue with the av Port, still no image. I used a brand New rca cable with 3.5 plug.
Maybe there is a setting in Android to enable the Port, but i think it is autosensing. And there is something wrong with the remote controller, the unit will switch off but not on. I think the firmware i flashed is not the one that was original on the box, there are a lot of Different ones on internet the box has a lot of brand names. Internal virtually the Same. I Just need to. Find the Right one. Can someone Tell me, if it is possible to change the parameters of the remote software on Android?

I placed an order from one of eBay sellers about two weeks ago, too, and yesterday received the shipment from China. In my case, I encountered two issues:

1. The included (short) HDMI cable works OK if connected directly to an HDMI port on my HDTV set. However, if the same cable is connected to an HDMI2AV adapter and then connected to the 3-RCA ports on my old Toshiba 62" TV, the display is blank.
2. I have an AV cable from my Android Z4 (octa core system) and used it on my Z4 with an old 62" Toshiba TV without a problem. However, the same configuration gives me an out of sync on my same old TV when used with my MXQ Pro S905.

I don't know why, but I started to speculate perhaps the one I got is a defective product that failed the factory quality control and got dumped out very cheap (I paid less than US $15 + Free S/H).

I suppose you meant flashing a firmware to your device. If so, I sure would to know where did you download the firmware from.

Ok the remote issue is solved now. Reflashed the firmware using usb stick with the update function. I found the firmware at Firmwares . All seems to work now.
