Is Play Store not working right now?

Tried downloading several Apps including Google News, never shows progress percent down loaded, notification starts and stops. This is happening on my nexus 7 with lollipop.

Did you try going to Settings>Apps>All, selecting Google Play Store, and tapping Force Stop, then Clear Cache/Clear Data? Do the same for Download Manager as well.

Now it's working, was able to download Google news on split second, go figure.
