Is there a way to capture and store all user/app settings?

I may be facing a reset to factory defaults & restore situation (Galaxy Note 8). Now Smart Switch does a pretty good job of doing a full dump/restore - but not quite. So I've been capturing screen shots of all my home screens and application folders, as a reference.

But.... I've been looking for a simple way to capture and dump all of the various user & application settings - as a reference.

Can somebody recommend either a tool or trick for doing so? Preferably one that will pick up everything that's unique to a Note 8, failing that something generic for Samsung or Android.

Thanks very much!

Samsung's built in backup cloud service works great. It's under settings - cloud amd accounts - backup and restore and under the Samsung Account section there is Backup Settings. When you wipe your device restore both from Google and Samsung and it should pretty much get you back to way things were setup.

Agreed. Found that it works with SD cards too.

Verizon users, don't get excited. Verizon decided we don't need that feature, it's not there.
