I just want to know if theres a way to replace flipboard with google now without rooting or getting the google now launcher.

Use a different launcher like Nova. Personally I like nova a lot better so many more options to do things like change density.

Hi, could you please give me some more details. Would like to replace the flipboard with applications similar to microsoft exchange or to any similar one

First disable Flipboard if you haven't already done so (see this link) How to turn off Flipboard briefing on Galaxy Note 4 home screen?
then Download GoogleNow launcher from PlayStore https://forums.androidcentral.com/e....google.android.launcher&hl=en&token=r_96QkAl and enjoy.

P.S. I too like, and use Nova, however there is a major bug since the Lollipop update (notification expand not working), but I believe the developer is working on a fix for that which is currently in Beta. Link to Nova here https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...com.teslacoilsw.launcher&hl=en&token=IoUbYiV9

Just curious....did you know we can hold the home button and Google Now launches?

You can do it with Action Launcher...it's like a customizable Google Now Launcher.
