I'm currently using Mahdi Rom on my LG-LS980 (G2). Lollipop seems to only add features that most custom roms already incorporate. So I'm wondering if any custom rom users are excited a Lollipop and why?

Well I don't really use custom rom anymore, unless it's something like OnePlus One with CM built in.

But coming from a Moto X users I'm excited to see a lot of it's features being brought into Android L, such as:
-Okay Google always listening
-Ambient Display, which is similar to concept to moto/active display
-Trusted Bluetooth
-NFC unlock (okay, this is actually something common, but the Moto X had the Moto Skip, now Android L can pair with any NFC tags for unlocking.

It probably devalued the exclusivity of the Moto X, but it's good because I have more phones to choose from. The only thing stock Android lack that I still want is Moto Assist.

Dont get excited if u dont hav an AMOLED screen.
I hear It will allow u to light up a small area to show notifications when the screen is off!!

And.. OP, did u forget about the UI change?
Im running CM11. Hell im excited for lookd to change

I was thinking more about features... I'm running Mahdi.. I have a torch in my quick settings menu, double tap to wake, my display lights up when I pick up my phone, "Okay Google" on every screen, notifications on lockscreen, floating Windows.. And more. So I was wondering, outside of animations.. What's new?
