Security to prevent stranger from accessing my phone

Is there any built-in security Samsung s4, Lollypop update, that would prevent someone from taking my phone and accessing my contacts or even making calls and using data on my phone without my permission?

Welcome to AC.

That is the purpose of using a PIN or password on your lock screen. To set it up, go to Settings, Security, Screen Lock.
Or are you referring to some other type of security?
