Is your V20 glass screen 100% flat?

The only way you'll know is if you had already installed or tried installing a tempered glass screen protector. I think I mentioned it before, but I've owned 2 V20s, both were the LG-US996 unlocked model. The first one was NOT 100% flat, the top portion of the screen near the front camera would not allow the screen protector to fully adhere, leaving an ugly partially lifted screen on the corner. The second one I bought was 100% flat, I was happy the screen protector fully adhered to the glass with no lifting anywhere.

Does your V20 allow a glass screen protector to fully adhere? Which model do you have and when did you buy it? This problem happened on the LG G5, everyone was frustrated a glass screen protector could not fully adhere due to the screen not being 100% flat.

My glass is perfectly flat on my AT&T H910.

There was one screen protector that did not want to be flat. All others adhered properly. Sometimes screen protector are not flat themselves.

But get this screen protector on Amazon and call it a day

Thanks for the testimony! My original glass screen protector got a nasty scratch (did its job). Also, the one I replaced did not cover the entire screen...left a small gap at the top and bottom.

I ordered the two pack that you recommended. Went on easily, fits great, works great! Thanks!!

Not to side-track....but...I've decided to skip the V30. I'm just not sure where LG is going these days and my V20 is still going strong thanks to being able to replace the battery. Also with the V20 now scheduled to get Oreo on Tmo, I know I'm good for awhile.

Going to "cruise" for now and see what happens in the industry over the next 6 months with 5G, folding phones, etc. My V20 does what I need it to do for now!

Thanks for the offer!

Yeah man no problem. But I really the earpiece as mic feature and the camera improvements. Significantly better in low light with the f 1.6 aperture. Which is really useful to me as I go to alot of concerts. Hate the lack of the features I had grown accustomed to but I love the phone and its two year warranty.

The V20 and V30 aren't much different, they both are stellar performers, basically the V30 has a slightly smaller size and less bezels, modern design. I do feel like the V20 has more features and will last longer and age better than the V30. The removable battery will come in handy later down the road when the battery ages, you can easily replace it.

Thanks! Is it similar to the PThink, full adhesive and glued around the borders? Could you provide URL to purchase it? I might get the V30 now knowing there's a good one out there.
Because of the higher curve to the glass, this is an entirely different system where you have to apply liquid to the screen before putting the tempered glass on. Because of the liquid there is 100% adhesion to the screen. The UV light hardens and cures the liquid.

I imagine the screen protector and UV equipment to cost a hefty price, how much is it? If it's more than $100 it's not worth it.

It was about $59 for everything for two screen protectors. $12 less if I just wanted one.
