Hi,

Android 14
OnePlus Nord 2T 5G

Since a few days i've gor following issues:
-no notifications when i swipe down
-on the same place way less possibilities (I can't turn of mobile data, I can turn bluetooth on/off but I can't go to the bluetoothsettings, can't turn on/off the 'nightmode',...)
-I can't download/update apps

I search through all the settings, but can't find the issue.
There is enough space left on the phone.
Turning it off and on again didn't help.

Any ideas/suggestions?
Help would be very appreciated!

Greetings,
Willem

Maybe a bit more info:
-When i try to install an app, I don't get an error of some sort, the wheel just keeps turning and turning.
- some items in some menu's can't be opened, for example 'users and accounts' is not accessable.

Swipe down the notification panel -- do you see your account profile at the upper right, or is it the guest profile? Try tapping that and seeing what options you get.

Another issue:
When somebody is calling me, I can hear the ringtone, but I can't pick up.

Only after the missed call, I can see who it was
Hi. On your screenshot above it shows your personal information. I realize that you're just answering @B. Diddy but it isn't a good idea to post that info on a public forum. I would suggest that you delete the screenshot for your protection. You've answered the question, you're not on the guest profile. We need to look at other options.
😊

I realised before I posted it, but I thought: it is only an emailadres, right?

But I deleted it anyway.

Thank you for your concern.

Sorry, it can always be a little challenging to help someone with a device from a different manufacturer than I'm used to, since they often customize the user interface and menus to some extent.

Try booting into Safe Mode, and see if the problem persists:

Mister B!

No need to say sorry at all!

I found the safe modus (a lot of trial and error, the YouTube clip was not the way to go)
But the same strange things appear in safe mode (same amount of tiles, with less options; still "no notifications"; not every part off the settings menu is accessable; ...)

If no one else with that OnePlus phone can chime in, then the next step may be to do a factory reset and set the phone back up again. A hassle, I know. But I'm not defeated yet! 😁

You already mentioned not seeing any notifications in the swipedown panel -- but do you ever hear app notifications as they happen? Or does your phone remain completely notification-free?

If you go to Settings>Apps, select an app that should be giving notifications (like your Messages app), and then tap Notifications, what do you see? Show us a screenshot of that.

Regarding the Bluetooth button not doing anything in the Quick Settings menu -- what happens if you long-press it?

Do you recall any major system update right before all of these issues cropped up?

I hear notifications comming in.
On the lockscreen (?) i can see them (printscreen) , and with little dots on the appicons (printscreen).
It's the same with incomming calls: i hear it but there is nothing to see.

Pressing long on the bluetoothtile doesn't work. (Short press can turn it on/off)

In settings>apps> app management (= maybe wrong translation), I see the list of apps, bit I can not click on any app, although there is a '>' besides each app, suggesting clicking is possible.

In settings> notifications and status bar I can see recent notifications and I've got the impression a lot of apps have got permission (screenhots)

I don't remember an update before.
There was an update after. (And I was hoping this would resolve the issues)

I can see notifications in settings> notifications and status bar> more settings> notification history. (Screenshot)
