Twice this week I have used S-Health to track my bike rides and on both occasions when I paused the activity for more than a minute it reset my distance back to zero but my total time spent is maintained. I haven't tested with other activities to see if the same issue occurs.

Anyone else experience this behavior? To me it sounds like a bug. It's quite frustrating because if you don't check your distance when you pause you lose track of how far you went.

I have a Gear S2 (no 3G) and I have the same issue. It tracks fine until I hit pause. Thereafter the distance is reset to zero. Everything else continues to track correctly. I contacted Samsung support and was told to wait for an update. Lovely. No acknowledgement of an issue so not sure they are aware of it.

I also have this issue, but it is not tracking the over-all time of the ride. I rode my bike for 45 minutes and S health and watch show 13 minutes. I paused and it was as if what happened before doesn't exist. Also, is there a gps bike app that works with s health? Although advertised, mapmyride does not. Neither does strava.

I'm Sad but glad I'm not the only one having this issue. I'm on my 3rd S2 for this reason. Its been replaced and NO ONE(Verizon,BB,Samsung) knew what I was talking about. I've reset anything can be reset. Its a pain in the butt to have this happen. I bought it to use while I run and it sucks when I cant keep track. I've tried no GPS ,GPS and standalone Nike app dies the same thing. I was told at Samsung they have NEVER heard of this before. I bought my watch in Jan. Please keep us updated if you hear anything else.
BTW I'm on Verizon.
