Issues after recent update (4.4.2)

After the recent update my tab pro 10.1 keeps dropping wifi while streaming youtube videos. It seems to be only during that activity. The videos get leggy and then bam....Internet loss...it comes back after about 30 seconds but only to happen again. Any ideas? I already did a factory reset (several) contrary to my screen name I'm not an apple fan boy and not trolling just looking for some help.

Welcome to Android Central! This is for the YouTube app, not the website, right? When you lose the connection, is the internet connection completely lost for any app on the tablet, or just YouTube?

Try going to the App Manager, select YouTube, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.

I would try reinstalling YouTube also reboot and reconnect your WiFi. When I updated I had to redo my WiFi worked fine after that

I figured out a solution
1. Go into WiFi in settings and turn on WiFi
2. Click on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner and click advanced
3. Make sure you have WiFi turned on and toggle the setting that says "Passpoint" so it is turned off and you should be able to connect to WiFi again
