I am using the stock messenger on the S5. For some reason the translate function has stopped working. Had the same problem on my S4 and never found a fix. It is a little used function but if you long press the actual text message you will see the capability list. Fun to play with ....

I didn't even know they could do that. Seems like a nice feature to leave in there.
