I've got a Nexus 6P here, lets get some questions going!

How bright are we talking about? The last amoled phone I had (GNex) was really dim and barely useable in the sun. I'm worried the same would occur for my 6P

Seems a lot of answers comparing the 6P to Samsung phones, but I think a good portion of the audience here are probably Nexus users/fans.
So, to simplify my earlier question: Does the 6P offer enough of a noticeable improvement in features and performance to justify an upgrade from the Motorola Nexus 6?

Can you confirm that the phone displays "faster charging" only when usb-c native connection to the supplied charger is used?

In other words, does that wording show up if you use c-to-a connected to a QC2.0 port?

I know this is a picture of the 5X, but I promise they both do the same thing.

Hey Russell, do you know if they camera is will work with the 3rd party camera apps for manual controls and raw support. Thanks.

How well does the fingerprint reader work? How convenient is the placement?

Thanks.

It's crazy fast, but you have to be careful about setting up the six images it captures to map your finger in order to get all of it. The placement is great for everything but in the car.

The only feature difference is a fingerprint sensor and missing wireless charging. It's smaller, and perfectly capable, but the N6 is still a good phone. It'll really boil down to how you prefer the exterior for most.

it will work...but i think the rapid charging here needs 3amps...which is only provided from a 15w charger with type c output

Let us know in full review

Im sorry to bring it up again...but my HTC m8 is decent in direct sunlight at 460 NITS brightness

Will i see an improvement with nexus 6p?
Also they say LCD is better for sunlight use.....is that true when comparing the 5x with nexus 6p outdoors?

Thank you

Just a suggestion for everyone about this, I resolve display timeouts in my vehicle by using one of the car mode apps that support keeping the display on when that app is running.

Any news on signal strength, specifically in poor-reception areas?

I have an HTC M8 now and at work I'm on the border of no signal so anything worse would not cut it. I tried an LG G4 and it was slightly better than my M8

Wouldn't even mildly OCD people be compelled to wipe the glass across the rear camera before every shot, which would probably make it worse. They have obviously got the optics right. It just seems a design compromise, though it's probably fine in practice.
Catch yourself checking it for smudges?

I have a similar question plus one. Love my moto x2 (except battery life) and my Republic Wireless service. 1) what specific moto actions are missing from 6p? 2) have you tested with Project Fi?

Have ordered 6p. Plan to order Fi. Advice?

I mean, your current phone has a glass lens, it's not really any different.

You're a big fan of Vainglory. How does the device handle it and look? I'm assuming great, but I had to ask as I may switch to it as my main device and Vainglory is a must.
