I've got a Nexus 6P here, lets get some questions going!

Hello sir, thank you for your time

One thing i dont see anyone covering is the rear bottom of the device. I notice on the pics its a different shade. Can you best describe what is it?
Being a fuly metal phone, is that a "window" machined in the chassis that its covered in plastic painted to match, is it metal? ETC
Thank you

It's plastic. They have antennas there. Several hands on videos at the Google event mentioned it.

EDIT: It's the same color stuff, not actually a different color. It looks a little different because of the angle and light. Feels almost the same.

So I've seen it said that you can double tap the power button to enter the camera. Does this only work from the powered off state? Can you hit the power button twice while the phone is already powered on and unlocked to go into the camera as well?

It works from anywhere, but occasionally locks the phone in the process so you lose the multitask button and gallery until you unlock again

A bit of a general question, and perhaps a tricky one to answer since you use so many devices, but has anything about the device made you think 'wow'?

Lots of devices are great iterations upon already great devices, but occasionally one will come along which feels not just great but wow. This device appears to have it all, and I'm wondering if it also has this? If this question makes no sense please feel utterly welcome to disregard it as nonsense!!!

Mackenzie... the phone requires a NANO sim. It does not matter what carrier you intend to use the phone on. Your micro sim from your Note 4 will NOT fit.

Thank goodness I happened to catch this post. I had no idea I would need a new SIM.

Camera and battery so far have been better than any other Nexus I've ever used.

No question, just a BIG THANKS!!!

This is some great info and a lot of questions being answered... love this thread!!!

Two questions

I have smaller hands, do you think this would be comfortable to hold

And second question I usually hate the Galaxy line of phones due to the screen colors for example I always find reds to be over saturated, how is this compared to say the s6 when it comes to that

Saturation isn't quite as bad, but you'd probably be happier with sRGB mode enabled.

It's also a big phone.

It looks like the lack of OIS isn't affecting picture quality as much as first thought. However, have you taken any video while walking to see how much the lack of OIS makes the video shakey?

Pocketnow did this and it looked good. Check out their comparison video between 6p and 5x.

Here's a quick one: I have always hated the vibration motor in the LG Nexus 5 vs Sammy (Galaxy Nexus) phones. It feels cheaper / less strong.
Does the vibration have a tighter feel? More towards a Samsung feel vs Nexus 5?
