I've got the EVO - ask me anything!

Wow so you can't just use the internal storage for apps. So basically it will end up like the old EVO where at some point you may have to shuffle apps that require internal.

I used to worry about this sort of thing, but I don't any more. I have 250+ apps on my EVO 3D, and that only had 1GB of free internal storage. I moved everything I could to my SD card. Now I have about 250MB of free internal storage. Everything runs fine.

With 2GB of free internal storage, the EVO 4G LTE should have no problems handling however many apps you decide to install.

Phil, you OK? You haven't posted in this thread for 10 hours, we're getting worried about you.

According to FCC docs the evo lte supports SVDO and SVLTE(voice and data simultaneously). I know the LG viper supports it too.

This assumes your area supports LTE. Otherwise it's no different then the EVO 4G.

Wow thats sad! my average is about 1100 up and 776 down.

This was just now

I know this is a dead thread now and Phil deleted a lot of the stuff I posted about speeds (which is reasonable, since this is not a speed thread). But I did want to clear something up. My complaints about every tower in this area being around 125 to 130kbps at ANY time of the day has been resolved. After being annoyed for months, I found an app that explained that problem- I was not connecting to anything at 3G, but only 2G (1xRTT). I called Sprint and they walked me through a "data reset" which took a while, but now I am getting 700-900kbps... a HUGE increase in speed, and back to the speeds I used to have. This I can live with while waiting for LTE...

Phil...Thanks for all your hardwork.

2 questions:

1)Does the music app on HTC sense integrate with Google Music?

2) Can you change the apps that are available on the Home screen of HTC Car? Say I want to replace Music with Google Music or I want to change the Internet radio button to Pandora...is this possible?

can you do voice and data at the same time on sprints 3G being a LTE enabled device or do you still have to be on wifi to be able to do that ?
Nope

im quite familiar with how android works, just never used HTC unlock method. thanks, was wondering about data, since i s-offed my 3d, and lost nothing.

yikes!!! sd card also??? remind me not to have mine in the phone while i run this!
fastboot oem unlock will ALWAYS wipe internal storage. external card is fine. if you use revolutionary, etc. to unlock, probably wont wipe

Only unless 2 GB isn't enough app space for you 0.o

I didn't see this asked but does it could preloaded with that atrocious Sprint ID?

The EVO 4G LTE's page on sprint's website says sprint id is not included.
