I've got the Samsung Galaxy S III, ASK ME QUESTIONS!

I found it needs fairly decent lighting to work well. Makes sense I guess, if the phone can't easily make out your face from the rest of your surroundings, it's not going blink in the status bar.

It's really a bit gimmicky and easily replaced with a well timed screen tap every now and then.

When I briefly had the Galaxy S2, it wouldn't respond to bluetooth commands when security was enabled (e.g. pattern lock or pin). If the phone had been idle for a while and I tried to initiate a call via my bluetooth headset, nothing would happen. I'd have to go physically enter my password/code before the phone would respond. Does this same inconvenience exist on the GS3?

My HTC phones didn't present this issue at all and my Motorola phones had a feature in Location and Settings to "allow bluetooth bypass." Maybe this phone has something similar?

Also, while driving, if I had the GS2 plugged into the auxiliary port (listening to music) and a call came in through the car's bluetooth system, while I would be able to hear the caller, the caller could not hear me, unless I unplugged the phone from the auxiliary port. Once I finished the call, I'd have to replug the auxiliary cable into the phone. Major inconvenience while driving. Can anyone respond as to whether the GS3 has this same "dysfunction?"

How to close an app, and do you have a micro sd slot?

I have a question. I'm a former WebOSer/multitasker, & I don't understand what happens to something I'm working on if I get distracted and answer a text. I downloaded a multitasker to help with this problem. I can now see everything that is opened. I just cannot close anything unless I hold down the home key, wait, and fish through all 30 open apps. Can I just, for example, check the weather, and then close the weather app? Or does it stay open all day?

Also, I can see micro SD under the hood when I take off cover, but there is no access to it otherwise. Is this appropriate?

Thanks!

How do I disabled system announcements like "the folder is open"?

It has play pause...forward and backwards... but to get your playlist under it you need to resize the widget and extend it from the bottom
