My order (32gb black & 32 gb white) originally said 3-4 weeks, but has now shipped and is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow! I am so psyched! Google and LG really stepped it up this year, compared to the fiasco last year. Great job!

I have just called UPS to have mah boxes held down at 41st street, Im driving down tmmr morn and going to pick them up! I'm not going to wait all day long for the UPS man to deliver lol. It will be a tantalizing drive upstate with a Gamestick and a Nexus 5 in the cargo bay.

Well that was a complete waste of time. A nice lady from Manilla repeatedly explained to me that the package (that currently sits in Parsippany, NJ) will be delivered, as promised, on Wednesday in spite of my repeated inquiries as to why it doesn't move all day tomorrow and takes that long to cross the river into Manhattan....smh.

You're an avid user of what? Clearly not Android/Nexus devices if you don't know the answer to that question. C'mon now.
If a replaceable battery is something you don't want to give up then the Nexus 5 (or likely any Nexus newer than the GNex) isn't for you.

Yes . . . well . . . I did answer my own question with a Google search (I know I should have done it first). But sometimes, well, stuff like work gets in the way of reading absolutely everything out there about the newest device. The replaceable battery has been something that I have been glad to have since the Treo--it makes it easy to get the phone to last for a long day without having to look for a charge every time you sit down. But I do not see any other good options out there. I am on my second Nexus device and I am not moving away from pure Android anytime soon.

So thanks for your response. I will take your jab as good-natured. ;-)

Just ordered on Google Play. 16GB White (no real need for the 32GB), I got a ship date of the 26th, with 2 day shipping. Due to Thanksgiving, I will probably get it by the 29th on Black Friday. Since I'm selling my other phone to Gazelle to fund this phone hopefully it comes a bit quicker. If it's here on the 29th though that gives me just under a week to get my other phone shipped to Gazelle (needs to be postmarked by the 5th of December)

UPS usually delivers at my house after 6:00 PM. I am working from home tomorrow and decided I would try the will call pick up. I live about 15 minutes away from the UPS will call center and they open at 8:00 am. I've never done the will call before. If I show up at 8:00 am, should I be able to pick it up then?

Here's an odd one. I order 3 Nexus 5's and Google manages to bunch them all together in one shipment but each with their own tracking numbers. All 3 leave their destination at the same time, all three arrive at my local hub at the same time, all three go out on a truck this morning, and only two show up on my front door. When you use the tracking number of the third it says out for delivery with a delivery date of end of day 11/4. I watched the UPS guy walk from the truck to my door with the other two. What do you guys think, maybe it just got left behind and should be here tomorrow?
