'I've Ordered a Nexus 5' Thread! (Order & Shipping Discussion)

Woo hoo. I just got confirmation of my 32gb to be delivered on Thursday to Toronto.

Here's an odd one. I order 3 Nexus 5's and Google manages to bunch them all together in one shipment but each with their own tracking numbers. All 3 leave their destination at the same time, all three arrive at my local hub at the same time, all three go out on a truck this morning, and only two show up on my front door. When you use the tracking number of the third it says out for delivery with a delivery date of end of day 11/4. I watched the UPS guy walk from the truck to my door with the other two. What do you guys think, maybe it just got left behind and should be here tomorrow?

It is probably the UPS son's Christmas gift this year! Jokes aside, I would think it just got misplaced in sorting or something and will be there tomorrow.

Just to clarify, I told UPS via MyUPS to hold it there.

The last time I picked up something on will call, UPS advised me that it would not be available until 10am. I showed up at 10 and the box was not even in the back yet. It was in the front as it was just delivered. The package was through Amazon and this location is also an Amazon warehouse area.

Get on UPS chat and ask what time you can pick up the package to avoid disappointment.

Just ordered on Google Play. 16GB White (no real need for the 32GB), I got a ship date of the 26th, with 2 day shipping. Due to Thanksgiving) I will probably get it by the 29th on Black Friday. Since I'm selling my other phone to Gazelle to fund this phone hopefully it comes a bit quicker. If it's here on the 29th though that gives me just under a week to get my other phone shipped to Gazelle (needs to be postmarked by the 5th of December)

I wouldn't be surprised if you get it in the next week or two.

My phone shipped on Friday. But hasn't updated since Saturday, last departure scan was at 2am on Saturday. I really hope it isn't lost somehow. Delivery shows on Wednesday

Yeah I wouldn't either. My Chromecast was the same way, It ended up shipping about 3 days after I ordered. I HOPE it ships out that quickly.

When did you order your phone?
I ordered 40 mins after launch and my expected date of delivery was Nov. 8th. Got an email that it shipped on Sunday and it's been stuck at this msg all day:

"A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."

Current shipping dates are showing 4-5 weeks for a black 16GB (3-4 for 32GB), and 4-5 for a white 16GB (2-3 for 32GB white).

When I ordered mine just a couple hours ago, it showed 3-4 weeks tops (and initially in the receipt showed ship date of 11/26)

I think i got lucky. I order a few hours after release and was told 2-3 weeks until it shipped, but it shipped 2 days later. I got lucky again from UPS, because it originally said delivered by 11/06/2013, but then changed to say EARLY delivery 11/5/2013 by end of day. I live in Georgia, only about a 5 hour drive from where it originated. I suppose that might be why. idk, either way im happy. ill have it in my hands within 24 hours.
