I thought you guys would get it easier than the UK? We never get anything half as decent as US/Canada. They don't even wanna give us the Moto X or a 32gb LG G2 version. Instead we get lumped with the Moto G...we don't get GPE phones either surprised we were even allowed to have the Nexus lol

I ordered my 32GB nexus 5 on the 28th, UPS tracking issued 12/30. Google status says shipped (leaves warehouse 1/1/14).
UPS has no tracking info it just says " Package ready for UPS tracking issued 12/30." Seems like the phone is somewhere in a Google warehouse, contacted google support they were useless told me to wait another 24hr. I hoped to get the phone by Friday, paid for for 2 day shipping. I sold my nexus 4 earlier than i should have, now im stuck with a flip phone till my nexus 5 gets here.

I'm in the same boat as you, except I still have my old phone. Bought on the 29th (website said it would leave warehouse on the 2nd), said it was dispatched on the 30th at around 10am, tracking info still hasn't populated in the UPS database. Also paid for 2 day shipping and I believe it gives Saturday delivery, though am uncertain.
Rite okay then..so mine could have been dispatched already but could also still be in their warehouse lol.
Fingers are crossed for delivery this week but I've a feeling it will be dispatched exactly when they say it will be..

Order now says ships 1/7......4 business days later. lol

Ordered 32G Black yesterday afternoon with a wireless charger. Says it ships by the 7th. Currently on Sprint and changing over to AT&T soon (probably in May). Hope I don't have too many issues activating this phone on the Sprint network when it arrives. I REALLY hope I don't have too many issues when I switch over to AT&T at the end of my contract.
My order status is still showing as "Pending" and that it wont be dispatched for another 2 days..yet it arrived today

Does every cell phone manufacturer design separate models for different regions? I find this quite weird, specially if one travels a lot globally. Different phone to be carried for difference regions? I have been using BlackBerry for years now and it always worked in every region I traveled. I don't recollect any issues so far.

i received my phone today (32GB black), but the earpiece speaker has distorted sound. Had to contact google for a rma. Man this sucks my original nexus 5 16GB had dead pixels returned it to tmobile and ordered form the play store, hopefully the replacement has no issues.
