"I've ordered my HTC 10!" (Order & Shipping Discussion)

Just curious. I don't plan to cancel, but my receipt only has a "view invoice" link and not a "process cancellation" . Is it because of the payment method used?
 
It's not teaching them a lesson. This shows how stupid we are. I must wait on a pre order from last month 13th April but Verizon comes in and pre order on the 29th and gets the phone a week later. That's Bs and everyone agrees it is. What will be more laughable is if Verizon customers also get it before us. We have been asking for a specific date from April 12th and never got it. Verizon customers got it on day one saying may 5th and even now we don't have a date.

Maybe you should go to Verizon where this very small thing can be a win among all the other irritations and bad customer service. You can get your phone a couple days early.

Ordered my 10 yesterday from Verizon, taking advantage of the $100 preorder offer and the enhanced trade in value of $200 for my M8. I was hoping to see the other colors but I am sure I will be happy with the silver. It was a very nice phone in person in the store. Hard to pass up the $300 off and my M8 had become rather laggy recently. Supposed to arrive on May 5. Will see.
 
In the bright side I am okay to get the phone 3-4 days behind Verizon but in the long term we get 6 months faster update directly from HTC and no Verizon software and ugly Verizon logo. Calm down and wait for shipment notification by weekend everyone..

I have to just throw in my opinion that I think it is kinda crappy Verizon orders are shipping and pre-orders through htc.com are not.

Not complaining, I can wait until Monday, but still not cool.

I will say, for once, you've used your quote correctly. I'm calm, just excited to get the phone. Richard, on the other hand, needs to calm down.
Sure, it's annoying to be told early May, and here we are in early May and they still don't have an exact date for us. It's also annoying, that I still can't log in and check the status of my order. Not even with the link Richard posted earlier today. It makes me a little anxious thinking that maybe I won't get one at all because their system lost my order. But, worst case scenario,I can always just go pick it up at tmobile whenever they finally launch it.
 
I don't think it's jealousy, but everyone who preordered through HTC has a right to feel cheated if their preorders come in AFTER Verizon has the phone for sale in store. That Verizon, a sorry carrier that is not customer OR OEM friendly, would have it first is bad enough, but the fact that preorders for full price were not actually fulfilled first would be a slap in the face. That said, it is still early May, but the clock is ticking.
But Verizon customers preordered too. By the posts, it's clear that some people are angry that they thought they were "first in line" and if "jealously" isn't the word, I don't know what is. Not trying to shame anyone. I truly just don't get how people could let themselves get angry about someone else's pre-order, for a phone, arriving first. I guess I'll never understand phone culture. :(

Roger that. I spent over half an hour with one in the Verizon last Friday. Very impressed and can't wait to power off my M7.
