"I've ordered my HTC 10!" (Order & Shipping Discussion)

I spoke to a CSR and he said that I'd receive mine sometime in May. I was like well, there's 31 days in May, so I could get mine at eh end of the month. I told him I pre ordered on the 13th and people ordering later are getting their orders pending fulfillment, which seems like they're doing it randomly and not by first ordered/first shipped, like they claim, he didn't have much to say. So I cancelled my order. I'm not going to play their game. Samsung here I come.
Ha! Good luck with them!

No not their product. I liked my s7. Their customer service is what I'm saying good luck with.

It was so bad that I am selling my s7, gear VR, gear s2 watch because of it. I'll spend my money to a company that cares for their customer.

I'd go with Apple then. Nothing like walking in to the Apple store and getting help on the spot. Not calling and speaking to an Indian/French Canadian/someone you can't understand. I've never had to call Samsung support so I don't know what they're like, but HTC has left a bad taste in my mouth over this release.

I've had good service with HTC before so they are already miles ahead of Samsung. I almost went with the iPhone because of Apple's customer service but maybe next time.

I hope you never have to deal with Samsung that is all I will say.

I had to call them because they tried to Bill me and it wasn't processed. However, when I called him, he tried it again and it was successful. So I am now waiting for the tracking.

Hmmm, I think I've seen that name before lol

I was told that only a hold was put on the CC, which make sense. They do the hold to ensure that there is enough credit on the card. When the phone ships is when the CC will actually be charged. I see a pending amount on my card, so that jives with it being a hold.

Ok I basically just read every post so far on this thread (Good Lord there's a lot of them!). Here is what I gathered. HTC really needs to up their game in regards to the unlocked pre-order process. However most of us (myself included) are super anxious to get their shiny new toy. Waiting has never been most peoples strong suit, and getting nothing but vague information from HTC isn't helping much. I do feel HTC is playing it safe by saying early May, but unless we get these phones in hand after the 14th. I don't think we can say that HTC is failing at their promise. Would I rather have this phone now? Yup no doubt. But I can that some people (myself included) need to take a step back... take a deep breath, and just chill with clicking refresh. Unless you destroyed the phone you are currently using, I think it would be able to hold you till the new hotness arrives at your door. Just my two cents on it.

I haven't even bothered to check my shipping status. People are driving themselves up a wall and wasting hours of their life fretting over something they have zero control over at this point.

Whoa Whoa Whoa... Hold up... How bad is your hearing to say French Canadians are just as hard to understand as Indians?

Considering I'm an American and the person I spoke to the other day was, I believe French, and I could barely understand her because her accent was so thick, I'd say my hearing is fine.

Its interesting to see how people are impatient and cancelling the order and then suddenly the phone is meh anyway not that good. Lol.
