I have a blue 32Gig coming from Project Fi at the end of Oct.

I ordered the 5x 32GB in carbon with a Project Fi account and plan to port over my AT&T number, which is costing me $240 a month right now (more when I travel).

The stock Android experience and the Fi integration is what has me sold. I went 5x as the 6p just seems a little too large for my liking.

However, I'm having second thoughts... I had my eyes on the Galaxy S6 Edge due to the Samsung Gear VR integration. The Oculus apps they are creating for that platform seem pretty damn awesome. I'm torn... Maybe keep the 5x for the daily phone and try to pick up a cheap-ish bad ESN Note 5 or something for mobile VR?

When I preordered my black 32gb, it told me 3-4 weeks and the current estimate on the actual order is Oct 28-30. On a whim today I checked the estimated ship date on the same device (before you add it to your cart) and it's down to 2-3 weeks so hopefully my actual order will follow suit and update to reflect the same!

It got bumped up due to all the cancellations when a bunch found out there isnt slow -mo (really only for 240fps) and no led notification (but there is) and there isnt a Bose stereo mounted on front.

I see what you're saying. Estimated ship time 2-3 weeks. My order page still says Oct 28-30.

Just ordered the 5x in Carbon with 32GB. I was debating between the 5x and 6p. Yes the 6p has better features but in the end I couldn't justify the $70 price difference between the two 32GB models. Also I went for the better know brand of LG vs the fledgling brand of Huawei.
Another phone I was considering was the Motorola X Pure Edition but the lack of finger print scanner was a deal breaker for me.

32G Ice Blue, shipping to Canada. Est delivery date Oct 27-Nov3, which is about the same for the 2 cases I ordered on eBay for it.

Yes, it's a bit of a compromise from the 6P, however I prefer a smaller device, and it will still be a step up from my N4 (which I really do love).

On a different note, where do folks have there phones delivered? At home or work?

I always forget that these packages are usually signature required and end up chasing the package for a couple of days (the driver won't leave the box on my porch even if I sign the door tag). And in some cases I can't divert a package en route until one delivery attempt is made.

Home. I hadn't thought about a signature, but I live in an apartment and all packages go to the main office so I'm good there.

I've had Motorola cancel several orders over the past couple of years when my billing address didn't match the shipping address, and their system wouldn't even tell them why the order wouldn't go through (and no manual override they could do). So while I prefer having stuff ship to work, I went with home just to avoid any problems or delays in getting the phone.

I ordered mine from Carphone Warehouse (UK) and they do 'collect from store', so I'm having it delivered there - it's only a few hundred yards down the road from me so it will mean I can pick it up at my convenience - ie. seconds after I get the notification, lol!

I wonder when Google is going to start shipping these? I ordered it almost immediately when first possible and chose overnight. It says Oct 20 - 21 but I bet it comes early. I'd love for it to come a week or so early!

I think we're all wondering, and just hoping that it's earlier and not an accurate estimate, though none of us know, obviously, until they start shipping.
