Just noticed that if you try to order most iterations of the 5X now, it says "Leaves warehouse by October 22" as opposed to the more generic 2-3 weeks it had given before. Hopefully that means those of us who ordered last week will get it even sooner.

Also possible that their stock/shipping capacity is enough to satisfy all orders so far and they all go out together. I dunno.

I agree with this! But I've never had a Nexus before so I guess its hard for me to have any experience in the matter.. I'm looking forward to trying it out - I'm not a specs monster I just want it to work and be snappy

Good point. I was just thinking that perhaps the varying estimate dates people have gotten are based on shipping method. I went with the free ground shipping (3-5 days if I remember right) which, given a ship date of the 22nd, puts arrival right in line with my order's Oct 28-30 estimate. US order btw.

I've taken the plunge and have joined the ranks of the waiting. (2 to 3 weeks is the indication as others of stated)

This will be my first Nexus device, and first non-Motorola device since starting with the OG Droid. Looking forward to being completely carrier/manufacturer-free when it comes to updates.

The Carbon and Quartz say leave warehouse on Oct 22nd but the Ice Blue is still 2 to 3 weeks

My order changed from Pre-Order to pending a few days ago, and I was given an Oct 22-28 delivery estimate. Google put a hold on my CC, which went away a few days later, but my CC was charged again this afternoon.

Hoping this means that it will ship tomorrow or early next week! I have N5, but wasn't part of pre-order process a couple of years ago. How exciting.

I ordered my through project fi and my date moved up. The range for receiving it was OCT 29- Nov 2 it was updated to Oct 23-27 sometime tonight.

Has your credit card been charged or is it another hold? I've had two holds appear on mine but they both have disappeared. My 32gb quartz went pending monday.

I hate long pre-order periods! I'm growing increasingly impatient. I think any more than a week from pre-order to ship is annoying. My interest isn't fading at all but some of the excitement is fading the further we get from the order date. I just want my phone already. I check everyday to see if my CC was charged.

I noticed one of the phone cases on amazon was a pre-order and with a date of oct 30 is now shipping on oct. 18. hopefully that is the release date.
