Same exact story here (arriving Wednesday with the free shipping). Got the email this morning and the status updated to "shipped" on the Google Store with a tracking number. I ordered the evening of the September event.

This kinda sucks. I ordered mine (32GB Quartz) on 9/30 and am still waiting.

I got it through Fi, so maybe that's the difference though there's nothing in my shipping estimates before now that would indicate it's handled differently.

Mine came from the Carphone Warehouse here in the UK, mainly because it was just under £40 cheaper than my order from Google, which I cancelled.

Ordered through the regular Google Play store, so it's been the normal experience....Place the order, get a confirmation, then don't hear anything until it ships. (today) Did notice that my order changed from pending to processing last Friday.

I signed up to be invited to Project Fi, but I am not signed up, nor did I buy my phone there. But I just got an email from Project Fi pimping that the 5x starts shipping today and that I should get one. lol

So I guess that means we all should start seeing those notices soon today.

Mine has been processing since Thursday. I had another charge on my CC but it wen away over the weekend. Still showing 28-30 OCT. Come on Google, you are now toying with my emotions!

Just received my shipping confirmation as well. FedEx shows a scheduled arrival by 10/21.

Ordered on 9/30 via google play store: 32GB black. Status is showing as shipped on the play store as well. I suspect that most people who ordered within the first few days will be receiving confirmation at some point today.

Ordered on 9/30 via google play store: 32GB black. Status is showing as shipped on the play store as well. I suspect that most people who ordered within the first few days will be receiving confirmation at some point today (or shortly thereafter).

Ordered on 9/30 via google play store: 16 Gb black. Order is still pending and google play says leaving warehouse by 10/23. I talked to support and they said the orders are processed differently based on color and size ordered. So it seems they are shipping the 32 Gb first ...
Not to mention I live a few miles away from Carol Stream, I could just drive there and pick it up ...

I ordered my 32 GB Nexus 5X on 10.29 (Black). I have not received a shipping confirmation from Google yet, but I just searched by Reference number on the FedEx web site using the last part of the order number (following the period) and along with my Zip code found that the label has been created with an anticipated ship date of today (10.19) and a delivery date tomorrow (10.20).

I selected the overnight shipping option, my last name begins with "P" and I am in the US. The phone appears to be shipping from Carol Stream, IL.

YAY...I can't wait!!!

To Anyone that has received their shipping notification where is your phone coming from? I ask because I've been hearing some getting them from California and the other from Kentucky? . Also how can you use Fedex.com to see if a shipping label was created before it's actually shipped?

anyone ordered the white one have a shipping notification yet? I literally ordered as soon as possible. The store wasn't even live yet, I just guess the phone's URL (based off the Nexus 6 naming convention) and was able to order among the first (email receipt shows: Sep 29, 2015 12:20:28 PM CDT). White, 32GB. Still shows leaving warehouse on 10/20 at Google Play but I assumed I would get a tracking number today as well. I'll still be patient, just curious

EDIT: nevermind, I got my shipment email from Google at 2:58pm CDT today. hooray!
