Yeah, I really want to go back to an Android device from my iPhone 6 but situations like this are frustrating and make me just want to cancel and not even both. Especially when I see people who ordered after I did with same specs and are getting there shipping confirmations and stuff already.

As someone who spent an entire week after launch trying to track down the iPhone 6S model that I wanted (to no avail), while online order still showed a 3-4 week shipping time, I'm not sure I agree with the assessment that things are all that different there.

Sure those who ordered in the first couple days (myself included) have to wait, and that's frustrating, but whether you're buying a new Nexus or a new iPhone, a handful of weeks after launch they're available to just buy without a wait.

I got my tracking number via a Google email! Arrives on 10/21 for me. It still hasn't showed up on my FedEx Delivery Manager page :-[

Brother and I received shipping emails, we ordered Carbon 16GB right when they went live. Coming from Mira Loma Ca and will be here tomorrow, good thing I didn't pay for expedited shipping.

Preordered my iPhone 6s plus from Apple a hour or so after preorders started.Got it launch day no problem.Soon as i ordered it I got a confirmation that it would arrive on launch day.Google Gives a vague 3-4 day estimate.They also must of had a small handful available for early preorder since you can order today a have it leave the warehouse by the 22nd or so they claim.Early preorders have benefited a small few but did nothing for the large majority of people

yeah, It'd be nice if they were shipped sooner. But they do give a definitive "will leave warehouse by XXXX" message on the Google Play "My Account" page. My 5x was slated to leave "by 10/20" and is leaving today. So at least it's shipping sooner than their estimate and arriving well before the "arrives by 10/23-10/27" estimate. I just think they build in some extra "CYA" protection if there are some snafus along the way

Makes sense that only the Black and White ones are shipping at the moment given even their own site has a 4 day difference between shipping dates between those and the Blue. I think I can manage to wait a few extra days....

A lot of the shipping does seems weird, but as long as our new toys get to us we will be happy. I haven't received my confirmation email yet, but went to my order in Google Store and it is showing "Shipped" with a tracking number. I tracked it via FedEx and their website shows it will be shipped by Tues, Oct 20th by the end of day.

And to think... all this for a hand-sized computer that is basically a screen that we look at during the day, sometimes more than we look at the world around us. I do love getting new toys, but can't wait for the kid on Christmas Eve syndrome to go away once it arrives because I need to do more in my day then check websites about them. LOL!

Did a online chat a few minutes ago.Was told it would ship by end of day on the 23rd.Ask why the the Google store page shows leaves warehouse by 22nd then was told it may ship sooner.Was told mine is coming from Kentucky.

I got a Chromecast ifrom there n one day so hoping the same for the 5X

The Speck Candyshell Grip case still says processing but I got 2 cases already off Amazon > one for a penny and the other forty cent plus $5~$6 each for shipping

I hope the 9H glass screen protector I bought is a good fit
