Really? Usually AMOLED displayed are criticized for having blue-ish whites. I've had many many LCD devices with yellowish whites (usually when they're brand new, it tends to get better over time), but never an amoled one.

Yeah definitely yellowish at anything lower than full brightness.

Finally got someone from Huawei to answer me on when my phone would ship. Ordered a 32gb Aluminum on 9/30.

"It should be in the group of phones shipping by the end of this week and beginning of next."

Yup. I was told the same thing. So ready for that sweet, sweet email confirmation!

Mine just got shipped too. And FedEx says I will receive it tomorrow. I didn't pay for quick shipping. Mine is coming from Carol Stream IL to eastern Missouri. Great!

Not that I have seen. I am waiting for that exact option ordered via Fi on 10/2

I read somewhere recently that Google will email that in a day or two after your phone is shipped.

The are supposed to send you a code as stated within a couple days of shipping your device. You then have the option of applying the credit to any google play account you want to... even someone elses! Also you need to do this within a certain amount of time before the code expires but it's like months so just don't forget about it.

...sd cards are an old outdated technology of questionable reliability and limited capabilities...sm/phone manufacturers have moved on...in just a few years they'll be like the floppy disk - laying in the bottom of a junk drawer...

Oh no offense at all. In my ideal world you just create a 128 GB version for say $599 and be done with it.... but people complain and complain about the lack of expandable storage in Nexus phones (and other phones for that matter) and I kind of understand Google's side of trying to push people more to the cloud...

I have a couple of SD cards in my night stand drawer floating around the bottom as well. Like I said the last time I used expandable storage was with the Galaxy S3 what 4 years ago? and I didn't even really need the expandable storage. Heck I've not had a problem with storage on my Nexus 4, 5 or 6.... I opted for the 64 GB Nexus 6 last year and have nearly 50 GB free as is (Thus I just went with 64 GB Nexus 6p) I could live with 32 but opted for 64 just in case.... but I do typically off load my pictures and video's regularly..

They just basically have 9 different models out there with the different colors and memory sizes. They could have at least done away with the 32 GB version and reduced that to 6 across the colors.... Again I don't think starting at $549 would have cost them many sales...

--The notification LED (once turned on) pulses ridiculously slowly and by ridiculous I mean you can't glance at the phone to see if there is a notification, you have to stare at it for a while. Light flow here I come.

This is how stock android does notifications at first. It blinks slowly for the first few minutes. If you don't get to it quickly, it begins blinking faster.

Nice! I ordered standard ground too on launch day, I've been 'processing' for several days now, and I was charged on my CC yesterday. I'm hoping to get shipment notification too. Would be a nice surprise if it comes only after a day or two.

I got my shipping notification yesterday and received the redemption code today. I already redeemed it, even though I haven't gotten the phone yet (supposed to get 64GB Aluminium tomorrow)

Uhm, does anyone know what Ingram Micro is? I just had a FedEx package delivered at home but have no idea who they are. Can't possibly be my phone but I did notice on tracking that it came from Carol Stream.

Finally got my shipping confirmation. Didn't pay for shipping, but since it is like 45 min away in Carol stream, its estimating delivery tomorrow, end of day. Sweet!!!

Has anyone who ordered from Project Fi had there 6P ship yet?

I ordered the most commonly shipping early model, the 32 GB in aluminum from Fi as a new Fi customer on 10/2.
As many of you have seen the 32GB aluminum models are flying out the doors right now, some folks who ordered as late as last week are already shipping.
Google isn't late, my order has said it leaves the warehouse by 11/2 for an 11/5 to 11/9 delivery all along, but I wonder why the Fi orders are lagging so far behind??
