Well the awesome new is that I received my 32 gig aluminum this morning, the bad news is that I can't use it yet as my project fi sim has not arrived:/
This 32GB Graphite wait is just ugh. Google's official position (from the CS guy I just spoke to, to ask if anything was wrong with my order to be stuck in processing) is that the orders are being fulfilled in the order they were placed. Google is doing an excellent job of trolling us.
Still no movement on Frosts. I just checked the google store and it looks like 32GB aluminums are available again (1-2 business days). If anyone missed the boat![]()
I ordered the 32gb Aluminum. Thing is, I chose free shipping so there is no tracking number or even a mention what method was used. Huawei chat is down (probably overwhelmed) and I tried the support phone number and it doesn't work.
I'm hoping that's the case. My 128GB frost isn't due to leave warehouse until Nov 2, so I have some time.
If you have a 32GB and you are processing, I'd say you're not far away from hearing something. They seemed to have really loaded up on the stock for the 32GB model, I guess they thought that was the common size that most people wanted. I agree, 29 days is rough however.
Yeah, I would expect you to get your shipping notice today then, as seems to be the pattern at this point. I dont think many have waited more than 48 hours before a shipping notice went out.
As for me, I'm staying frosty () as my 64gb Frost is still pending. I believe all Frosts had an estimated ship date of no earlier than November 2nd, so I'm thinking we MAY start to see processing on our orders today or tomorrow, with shipping starting friday. That seemed to be the pattern with the first batch of 6p's last week, and should likely be the case with these as well. I was hoping for a sooner ship, but anxious me can wait.
I preordered my 6S+ two weeks prior and it was delivered to me on the day Apple told me. Why can't Google get it right? Ever? Did they not know at their reveal they'd be selling a phone that they themselves felt really damn confident in? You'd think they'd have ramped up production. Fact that no 128gb or frost color has "shipped early" is inexcusable. Did they only produce 20 frost models to send out for reviews? Looks like it.
When did yours move to processing???

Exact same boat as you (ship by Nov 5, delivery 10 -12), except when I called this morning the customer service rep indicated to me that they had already shipped their current stock of 64GB Alums and that it was very likely my order would be delayed but that they would give me a $25 refund. BTW I'm in Massachusetts. My delivery estimate (64gb Aluminum) is Nov 10-12. I checked last week with a Google CSR and they said everything looks good with a ship date of Nov. 5th. That's fine with me; I'm happy for those who got the same configuration even though they ordered later. However, in that email (posted on several sites) about delayed shipments, Google states "Rest assured that orders will still be shipped in the order that they were received". Since they can obviously figured out what was ordered first, why doesn't the same policy of shipping out the 6p in the order that they were received (assuming it's the same configuration) apply here?
