I think people are just being imprecise when they refer to it as a "ship date." On the Google Store page, it just lists the date without saying whether it's a ship date or a delivery date, but on the email receipt I received, it says "Estimated Delivery Date."

yes, its estimating everything including processing to delivery (as it shows in your graphic, actually)...

so if its Nov 4-6 that likely means a ship date of Oct 30 or Nov 2 (Friday-Monday).

I only looked today because someone else mentioned the 5x having a firm ship date. I'm fairly certain once the initial waves start going out we'll hear about it.

Odd...I ordered on Oct 1 and saw the pending charge of $735.00 stay on my Chase card for a few days then drop off. Just now, I see a -$735.00 pending negative charge in the same amount with the description "GOOGLE *Fairway Market". I double-checked my order to make sure it was still in "PreOrdered" status, and it is. Hmmm....

I don't see an option for a "carbon" version, only aluminum, graphite and frost. Is that graphite?

I preordered 32GB Quartz 5X, and 64GB Frost 6P. The Preorder status on the 5x is now pending, while the 6P is still preordered. Anyone having this same issue? Both were hit on the credit card previously, so I would think the status would be the same now.

Nevermind. I didn't read the other threads before and apparently this is happening as of today.

Maybe he was referring to the chemical formula as graphite is an allotrope of carbon. Therefore, you can have C, Al, or H2O for your phone backing.

I think they're verifying your credit card is good for that limit. The pending charge won't show up in your balance, but will count against your credit. There will be a real charge when they ship product.

for what it's worth, i chatted with huawei (someday i'll remember how to spell that) and they said their orders are going to ship out in early november. pressing for more details he said all he knows is november is when the us nexus 6p launches.

so i'm hoping they are at least in the same order as the google ones.

when i ordered from them, their site said "late october" so i asked and he said that was an earlier placeholder before they had a (albeit slightly) better idea of a shipping timeframe.

hoping for something earlier, but will be 100% okay with the first/second week of nov.

boo....had to change the credit card I was using, and now my ship date (32gb aluminum) is nov 18-20. I am sure hoping it comes quicker!

My order details page doesn't show a date at all. The order history shows Nov 2nd - 3rd

Depends on the state. I tried NJ (where I live now), and it charges sales tax. I tried TN (where I used to live), and no sales tax charge.

I ordered from TN and had to pay sales tax.

...nabbed a 128gb 'Frosty' on 10/4 ! scheduled del/date first cupla days in2 Nov, of course...after one deliteful year w/my OnePlus One (8/20/14), gonna give the Nex/6P a run-thru...cam/vid specs are bitchn ! can't wait to try out Marsh/6 runnin' w/a Snappy810...like the rest of us out here, HURRY UP, Google !!
